Join us on a Journey through Scotland's Rolling Hills and Castle Ruins with Dan and Ruth

Dan and Ruth, captivated by the allure of Scotland's untamed beauty, chose to stage their wedding day on family farmland. Their dream was an outdoor wedding, with rolling hills as their magnificent backdrop and the majestic castle ruins as their stage for capturing faerie-tale moments.

Their main goal for the day was to have a relaxed celebration with their loved ones, taking advantage of the Scottish summer vibes. However, Ruth, who is quite shy, and Dan didn't feel entirely comfortable being in front of the camera. They wanted photographers who would understand their feelings and help them feel at ease on their special day. That's where we came in.

To address their concerns, we had several video calls with them before the wedding. We took the time to truly know them, to understand their quirks, their desires, their dreams. An enchantingly lovely spring picnic engagement shoot, gave them an opportunity to get used to being photographed. This experience helped the shyness melt away, to be replaced by confidence.

On their wedding day, everyone was in a very relaxed and happy mood ~ despite the rain. Fortunately, the rain held off during the ceremony and the portraits at the castle. The heavens only opened once everyone was safely in the marquee.

We consider ourselves alchemists in the art of photography, constantly seeking to uncover the raw and real emotions that make each couple's story so captivating. We have a curious nature that drives us to capture the magickal moments that others might overlook.

Dan and Ruth, once timid and camera-shy, embraced this alchemy, surrendering to the wildish allure of their souls. They discovered that to capture true love, the connection between photographer and subject must go beyond the mere click of a shutter.
