Dreaming of a Friday the 13th wedding in the heart of Whitby, they yearned for something beyond the ordinary. While vibrant autumnal hues painted surrounded their day, they craved photographs that resonated with their spooky souls, yet stood out uniquely amidst the gothic backdrop.
They wanted photographers who could translate their vision into an artistic reality. More than just capturing moments, Hannah and James desired a pair who could blend creativity and skill to craft portraits that mirrored their enigmatic love story
As shy beings, it was important on their wedding day to blend both creativity and comfort. Beyond the lens, we spent a lot of time getting to know them through video calls and an engagement shoot, fostering a bond that transcended camera shyness. This allowed us to move through their wedding day as friends, letting them relax into their true selves, for perfectly candid photos.
When Hannah and James saw their photos, they were ecstatic. Hannah couldn't find the words to express her emotions, saying, "Oh my GOD. the photos. guys. I don’t even have words. I genuinely don’t. Me and James went through them all yesterday and I cried and gasped and gasped some more. They are BEAUTIFUL. I don’t have the words, I really honestly don’t. I can’t thank you enough for making our beautiful day look so beautiful."
